SATURDAY:
me and my cousin and her best friend rockin out to some Golden Earring ..doing the infamous DadDance. (our dad's are twins and the both dance the same)
The DadDance involves consuming several beers, playing some old Rock n roll, head down one arm out, slightly bent at the elbow, fist holding an invisible SOMETHING*, one knee bent and EVER SO SLIGHTLY tapping the feet, jigging the knees. The key is to keep movement to a minimum.
*can substitute with a can of beer
SUNDAY:
so my Best friend who i havent seen for like 5 months come over for a catch-up and i had to 'scuse myself to learn Jub about heating up the lasagne i left for him.

I really hope that daddance catches on, it looks pretty amazing. We have a momdance that always occurs at bad bars and county fairs where Jimmy Buffet cover bands play. The moms bend their arms at the elbows forward and their hands are apart and clenched like they're trying to stretch rubber bands between them. Then their head tilts back ever so slightly so as they sway (never in tempo) with unmoving feet, their hair sways just a TINY amount. It's pretty beautiful, and all midwest American moms know it somehow.
